For a more upscale gastropub experience, Three's a Crowd in Harrogate is the place to be.  Its stylish décor and welcoming atmosphere make it a great spot for foodies visiting the area. This modern gastropub is family-friendly and dog-friendly, so the whole crew can pile on in and enjoy. If you're visiting for a couple of pints rather than a full meal, they also have a great "nibbles" menu that we'd recommend not overlooking. 

This is definitely one of the best pubs in Harrogate, and we could easily spend the whole afternoon here chatting with friends and enjoying the atmosphere.

We've had to mention two pubs in Harrogate, so you might as well do a pub crawl! Centrally located and really close to the train station lies the Harrogate Inn. A historic pub in the heart of this adorable coastal Yorkshire town & one of the best pubs in Whitby! It’s just a short stroll from Whitby Station, making it an ideal spot for a post-train pint or meal. The pub's focus on fresh seafood and traditional ales makes it a must-visit for anyone exploring this seaside town. The pub was built in 1681 and was the first coaching inn from Whitby to York and London.

Don't forget to visit the Whitby Brewery for a drink with views of Whitby Abbey next door. The town is also the perfect starting point for exploring the Yorkshire Coast

Located in the heart of the city, this is easily one of the best pubs in York. Better yet, it's also known for having one of the best beer gardens in York. The Fat Badger is known for its great atmosphere and an impressive selection of beers and gins, including a long list of real ale. Feel free to spend the night in the inn if you're visiting the ancient city of York for the weekend. 

The pub offers views towards York Minster as well as Bootham Bar and, like our other recommendations, you'll also find delicious food here too, so you can spend the entire evening under one roof!
