Looking for something?

Blackpool’s eclectic scenes have been the wonder of the North for decades. With so many activities to choose from, it’s no wonder the city has maintained its position as one of the nation’s favourite holiday destinations.

Whether you’re looking for a summer holiday bonanza or a quick weekend getaway, Blackpool has plenty of attractions: Take a relaxing stroll in the breathtaking Stanley Park if taking it easy is more your style; or let loose in Britain’s largest indoor waterpark, Sandcastle Waterpark, if you’re a thrill seeker; or, if you’re an amateur foodie, travel back in time on a Heritage Tram Tour and sample a range of sweet and savoury treats!

After experiencing the full scope of Blackpool’s daytime activities, soak in the atmosphere of the night with a meander down the promenade and a chance to take in Blackpool’s most famous attraction: Blackpool Illuminations. Dating back to 1879 when Blackpool was the world’s first city to receive electric lighting along its beachfront, this historic light show never ceases to bewilder and amaze the eyes of its viewers.

If the Illuminations isn’t enough theatre for you, a trip to the Winter Gardens & Opera House surely will be. With shows ranging from music festivals to comedy specials, there’s a little for everyone in the Winter Gardens. Experience everything Britain’s favourite tourist destination has to offer.
