Bradford to Guiseley engineering work September and October 2024

Bradford Forster Square - Shipley / Guiseley service changes – weekends in September and October 2024.

To allow engineering work to take place, the railway line between Bradford Forster Square and Guiseley / Shipley will be closed on the following dates -

• Sunday 1 September 
• Sunday 8 September
• Sunday 15 September
• Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September
• Sunday 29 September
• Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October
• Sunday 13 October
• Sunday 20 October

A rail replacement bus service will run in lieu of a train service on these dates.

Travelling to and from Baildon on the rail replacement bus? 

Rail replacement buses do not serve Baildon station. They stop at the local bus stops on Otley Road, by the Halfway House, which is approximately a 15 minute walk from the station. 

Travelling to and from Kirkstall Forge or Apperley Bridge? 

These stations will be served by hourly services between Skipton and Leeds - so please check before you travel as train times will be significantly be different at these stations

Travelling between Shipley and Skipton or Guiseley and Ilkley?

Services to/from Bradford Forster Square will not be running. Please use the services operating to/from Leeds.

Delay repay
