Looking for something?

A prosperous port city, Hull is another English city that is rapidly reinventing itself having won the City of Culture award in 2017. Straying further from industry and transforming itself into a city filled with amenities and activities.

Hull has plenty of attractions to choose from with one of its foremost being The Deep, its award-winning aquarium. Home to an expansive list of deep sea creatures as well as tropical fish, the aquarium also hosts fish that you won’t find anywhere else in the UK.

Explore Hull’s influence on the UK through its many museums, head to the Museum Quarter giving the option of three distinct museums. Follow the Freedom Trail to get a good idea of how the city fought for the freedom of slaves within the UK and how that influence spread.

If you’re looking for something a bit more hands-on, Hotham’s Gin Making could be exactly what you’re looking for. With classes going over the history of gin, how to make gin and the different flavours available. At the end of the class, you’ll also walk away with your own unique bottle of gin.

How about checking out the growing independent scene within Hull at the Trinity Market, sampling local foods and crafts, or visiting the Humber Street Gallery showcasing local artists?
