Customer Service Assistant
Our customer service assistants work in our stations and make sure our customers are safe, comfortable and secure, answer travel enquiries and resolve issues calmly and efficiently. It’s all about being there when you’re needed, responding quickly, and making sure everyone always enjoys their Northern experience.
Gateline Operator
You will bring a warm and welcoming presence at our ticket barriers, making sure that all customers have the right tickets for their travel. This role is also about delivering exceptional customer service and solving any issues customers may have.
Customer Service Dispatch
In this customer service role, you’ll make sure that our trains are dispatched safely and on time while offering information, guidance, and assistance. Northern offers a full training course covering operations, safety, and customer service.
Ticket Office
Our ticket office employees look after customers' travel needs and offer excellent customer service. They are involved in everything from opening and closing our station ticket offices to answering travel enquiries and resolving issues calmly and efficiently.
