LiftThe lift to platforms 1 and 3 at Bolton station is being replaced. During this time, passengers alighting at these platforms who require step-free access are advised to travel to Salford Crescent to board a service that will return to Bolton on platforms 4 and 5 where there is step-free access.
Passengers who need step-free access are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and where possible, book assisted travel in advance with their train operator. Extra staff will be at the station to help passengers safely use the stairs.
