To Sheffield: Up a stepped ramp (17 paces, 1:6 slope) from the car park or up 22 steps into the ticket hall, either through the ticket hall (turnstile) onto the platform. Or when closed, through a 4ft wide gate to the right onto the platform.
To Manchester : There is no ramp to/from platform 1 - this platform is currenlty not step-free accessible. From the car park up 22 steps into the ticket hall. Turn right and walk over the footbridge across the railway line (11 paces), down 24 steps onto the Manchester platform.
