Platform 1 Closure - 18 November - 20 DecemberCrewe -bound trains services will not stop at Yorton. Rail replacement buses will run between Yorton and Wem and will connect with train services at Wem. Please check journey planners before you travel.
- Customers travelling from Shrewsbury to Yorton are asked to get off the train at Wem and use the rail replacement bus back to Yorton.
- Customers travelling from Yorton towards Crewe are asked to use the rail replacement bus from Yorton and connect with train services at Wem.
Platform 2 will remain open and Shrewsbury bond services will continue to stop at Yorton. Network Rail is installing a "œHarrington hump" on Platform 1 (which raises the platform height) to make it for accessible for wheelchair uses to get on and off the train.
