Northern is taking Pride in its latest venture

Northern staff – wearing Pride colours of course – will be on hand to give travel advice and guidance to customers. Even the trains will be getting in on the act, with many displaying rainbow badges.

Liam Sumpter, Regional Director for Northern, said: “Pride is a massive event for Manchester and we want to help make sure everyone is able to get to and from the festivities by train on time and looking fabulous!

“We’ll have people at stations across the city ready to provide assistance and get involved in some of the fun too.”

Liam added: “We are delighted to be supporting Manchester Pride Big Weekend 2017. I hope everyone attending Pride has a great journey there and a fantastic weekend.”
