Our Easter competition proved very popular - offering one family the chance to win a fantastic family trip to Blackpool. The lucky winner enjoyed a 2 night stay at the brand new Holiday Inn, plus Pick N Mix passes to Merlin Attractions across Blackpool!
In February this year, we offered one lucky family the chance to win a trip to New York City in partnership with Madame Web. We also offered 23 incredible runner up prizes from fantastic tech prizes including a TV, sound bar, Bluetooth speaker and headphones plus Madame Web goody bags and train tickets!
Our Christmas competition offered Northern customers the chance to win a festival bundle worth £435, including a £100 supermarket voucher, a Polaroid Camera and film, a £100 Starbucks voucher, and a year’s Spotify Premium Subscription.
They were 20 incredible prices up for grabs with our Halloween competition, including a Nintendo Switch Lite, a Kindle, Airpods, a family day trip, a mini projector, a FitBit, a £100 shopping voucher, a Betty’s Hamper, Escape Room vouchers and weekend train tickets. Plenty of options for everyone!
We also ran a ticket giveaway, a spot the difference competition to win a family day out, and a chance to win with Whistle, Our Northern Mascot for a family trip to Chester Zoo, including zoo tickets and a luxury hotel stay.
Fathers Day competition
- One entry per person.
- Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
- 3 prizes available on Instagram. One prize per winner.
- Each prize is for one ticket which will allow travel on the Northern network for one whole day. Each ticket will allow two adults to travel. Ticket T&Cs can be found on the reverse of the ticket.
- Winners will be chosen at random by random number generator.
- To enter you need to follow @northernrailway, like the relevant post and tag one person who you’d like to take on your journey.
- The closing date for entries is 12:00 on Monday, 17 June 2024.
- Winners will be notified by Northern on the social media channel entered shortly after the closing date to arrange redemption of prize.
- No other accounts will contact anyone to say they need to claim a prize. Winners will be contacted by the accounts posting the competition and will ask for postal address only. Make sure you stay cyber aware.
- Prize must be claimed within 21 days of being contacted.
- Tickets will be sent out to an address provided by the winners.
- No persons, including their immediate families, connected with the administration of this competition and/or employed Northern Trains Limited are eligible to win.
- The company reserve the right to withdraw the competition at any time.
- In the event of delay or cancellation of rail service, the company will not be held liable for any expenses incurred by the winner of the tickets.
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.
