With a MyCumbria card, residents of Cumbria can get a 34% discount on journeys operated by Northern and TransPennine Express wholly within Cumbria.

Where can I use the MyCumbria Card?
Your MyCumbria card can be used for journeys operated by Northern and TransPennine Express wholly within Cumbria. It is also valid to / from Carnforth, Lancaster and Silverdale in Lancashire.

- Cumbrian Coast line: Barrow-in-Furness – Whitehaven – Carlisle
- Furness line: Barrow-in-Furness – Lancaster
- Lakes line: Oxenholme Lake District – Windermere
- Settle & Carlisle line: Carlisle – Appleby – Dent
- Tyne Valley line: Carlisle – Brampton (Cumbria)
- West Coast Mainline: Carlisle – Penrith North Lakes – Oxenholme Lakes District – Lancaster
When can I use it?
You can use your MyCumbria card for trains timed to depart from 0900 Monday to Friday. Valid at all times weekends and Bank Holidays.
TransPennine Express have joined the MyCumbria card discount scheme for a trial period of 12 months only. They joined the scheme on 4 December 2022.
What ticket types do I get a discount on?
- CDS - Off-Peak Day Single
- CDR - Off-Peak Day Return
- Cumbrian Coast Day Ranger
No other Railcard can be used in conjunction with the MyCumbria card.
Your MyCumbria card is valid on Northern and TransPennine Express services only. Travel on Avanti West Coast services is not permitted.

The MyCumbria card can be bought for £20.00 per person on the MyCumbria website.
How much can I save?
The MyCumbria card gives you a saving of 34% on all valid journeys.
Where can a MyCumbria Card discount be purchased?
MyCumbria card discounted tickets are available to purchase from tickets offices, the Northern website / App and Ticket Vending Machines.
If the customer is in possession of a ‘Promise to Pay’ ticket and paying cash, or where no ticket purchasing facilities are provided then MyCumbria card discounted tickets can be purchased from conductors on the train.
Your MyCumbria card covers one adult per card, no children.

Yes, you could still be eligible. In order to become a MyCumbria member, you must have a valid CA or LA Cumbria postcode at either your home or work address, as the offers and benefits are exclusively for those who live or work in Cumbria.
