Baildon Landslip

Due to a landslip at Baildon, between Shipley and Ilkley, all lines are blocked.

All train services between Bradford Forster Square and Ilkley are unable to run due to a landslip near Baildon station.

Check your trains before travelling and follow the alternative travel suggestions

Network Rail are working to rectify this issue, but the line will remain closed until further notice.

Services that run via Bradford Forster Square & Leeds and Leeds & Ilkley are NOT affected.

Alternative travel suggestions:

• Passengers can use alternative services from Bradford Foster Square to Shipley and use the provided road transport for Baildon and beyond.
• Passengers can use alternative services from Ilkley to Guiseley and use the provided road transport to Baildon and beyond.
• Passengers from Leeds and Skipton should change at Shipley for the provided road transport to Baildon only.

• Services operating between Leeds and Ilkley will also call additionally at Kirkstall Forge to assist passengers with their journeys
