Easter 2024 disruption
Check before travelling over Easter
Scheduled engineering over the Easter holidays (Friday 29 March - Monday 1 April) means there may be disruption to services.
We ask customers to check before travelling as journeys may take longer than usual and last scheduled services may be earlier in the day.
Trains still run on Easter Sunday and the bank holidays, but some routes have reduced services, with a few closed completely. Easter is often is when essential engineering work is carried out, leading to disruptions; however, we work hard to ensure that these are kept to a minimum and alternative transport laid on wherever possible.
View our services updates page to keep up-to-date on the latest travel news, allowing you to plan your Easter journeys easily.
