Over the past decade, the entire seafront has been remodelled with beautiful Spanish steps leading down to the sandy shore. It’s the perfect place to be for panoramic views, the fresh sea air and an overwhelming sense of space and freedom. And the fun doesn’t stop there, either!

Try rockpooling at Blackpool South’s sea defences and uncover a wealth of marine life left by the tide, walk over the waves on any of the resort’s three piers, rent an iconic striped deckchair for the afternoon to relax and unwind, or simply feel the sand between your toes whilst on a refreshing stroll down the coast.

Did you know that the resort has a dedicated year-round Beach Patrol service? Their primary role is to look out for the hundreds of thousands of visitors who flock to the beach each year. It’s all part of the service they provide to ensure everyone can enjoy the beach in safety. In return, all they ask is to love the beaches as much as they do and bin your litter.
