Blackpool Illuminations

Six miles of dazzling lights bathe Blackpool Promenade in a shimmering sea of light in the autumn months. Spanning for more than 140 years, children and adults alike have been entranced by the spellbinding spectacle of the Blackpool Illuminations for generations, lost in the wonder of the heart-warming and uplifting display.

Experience millions of festoon lights, animated tableaux, laser technology and mesmerising projection shows and take a trip to see the world-famous light show.

For 2022, the light show has been extended for the third time in history, shining nightly from 2 September – 2 January, 2023.
