Scarborough’s North Bay has a pristine sandy beach and sparklingly clean waters making it popular with water sports enthusiasts and families alike.

If you’re fond of getting wet in the name of fun, then Scarborough North Bay is the perfect place to head for. From surfing and jet skiing, to pedalos and just plain old swimming there’s a water-based activity for everyone. This Blue Flag beach is also a haven of entertainment with golf, crazy golf and a SeaLife Centre located close by. You can also hire a beach chalet from the promenade – then look forward to a relaxing day of beach life with tea on tap.

Cafés are situated either end of the promenade, as well as a supermarket for essentials. And no trip would be complete without a visit to North Bay Railway, the most historic seaside miniature railway in the UK. Keen walkers can take the spectacular Cleveland Way which stretches from North Bay to Robin Hood’s Bay and experience the fabulous coastal views. Alternatively take things easy and opt for an open-top bus tour which travels between North and South Bays.
