Northern issues advice ahead of Monday's UCI Junior Time Trials - Harrogate

The women’s race starts at 10.10am, while the men’s race begins at 1.10pm. That means both could see cycling fans travelling during peak times in the morning and afternoon.

Steve Hopkinson, Regional Director at Northern, said: “We expect Monday’s trains to be extremely busy as people travel to and from work and others to see the cycling.

“We are putting on as many carriages as possible, but I’m asking everyone to give a little extra time travel and to be patient with other customers and staff.”

Steve added: “My advice to all is to be aware of the timetables, plan ahead and give yourself enough time to take a later train if necessary.”
