Yorkshire rail users given four-legged fillip by Northern and Pets as Therapy
Around 10 caring canines took to the concourse and gave customers the chance to stroke, tickle and pet them – the perfect pick up on Blue Monday*.
And there was no shortage of visitors to the special Pets as Therapy area with hundreds of people stopping by to pamper the pooches over three hours.
Steve Hopkinson, Regional Director at Northern, said: “We had a feeling the dogs would be popular, but had no inkling that so many people would come along to say hello.
“Not only were we able to put a smile on the faces of lots of customers, we were also able to highlight the fantastic work of Pets as Therapy.”
