Travel with another operator

If your Northern train is cancelled, you can also use your ticket on Transpennine Express, or LNER trains up to 2 hours before or 2 hours after at no extra cost (same day only) to your destination.

Refunds 

If the train you planned to catch is cancelled, you are entitled to claim a full refund on your ticket, you can do this through the Refunds page. providing your ticket was purchased from Northern.
