Snow may affect services 18 & 19 November
 

Heavy snow on 18 and 19 November may affect travel in some areas of our network.

We recommend you check before travelling, particularly through the Calder Valley, Southern Pennines and Peak District.

 

The following routes are expected to be affected until at least midday Tuesday 18 November.  

  • Bradford Interchange - Huddersfield 
  • Hebden Bridge - Halifax (reduced peak services to Leeds) 
  • Halifax -  Hull (only serving Hull-Bradford Interchange) 

 

Other services/routes are available - check before travelling.

Travel advice and ticket acceptance

If your Northern train has been cancelled you can travel on other Northern trains before or after your original time (on the same route, valid all day). 

 

Refunds and Delay Repay 

If your train is cancelled, you can claim a full refund, (provided your ticket was purchased through Northern). More details can be found on the refunds page.

If your train is delayed you can claim a refund depending on the length of delay using the Delay Repay portal.
