Easter 2025 disruption
Traveling over Easter? Remember to check before you travel
There’s planned engineering work taking place over the Easter weekend (Friday 18 – Monday 21 April), which means some services will be disrupted.
Before you set off, please check your journey, as trains might take a little longer than usual and the last services of the day could be earlier.
Trains will still be running on Easter Sunday and the bank holidays, but some routes will have reduced services and a few won’t be running at all.
Easter is a key time for carrying out essential engineering work to keep the railway running smoothly. We work hard to keep disruption to a minimum and arrange alternative transport where we can.
You can view our services updates page to keep up-to-date on the latest travel news. You can scroll further down this page for details of specific routes that will be impacted.
