Station adoption groups, often known as “Friends of…”, are volunteers who engage their local community in their station. This can include gardening, biodiversity projects, artwork, heritage boards, running workshops, and working with us to make larger station improvements, such as shelters and signage.

Station adoption contact

For those interested in joining and live close to an already adopted station, you may be able to volunteer or join the existing group. Or for those who are interested, and your local station is available, you may be able to adopt your station.

If you are interested in finding out more, adopting a station or have any questions, please contact us on [email protected]

For our station adoption forms and guidance visit our essential documents page.
